DemandScience Names Derek Schoettle CEO, Ned Leutz President

DemandScience, a global leader in B2B revenue marketing, has announced pivotal leadership changes, appointing Derek Schoettle as Chairman and CEO, and Ned Leutz as President. This strategic move signals the company’s commitment to scaling innovation and strengthening its market position.

Chris Gaffney, Managing Director at Great Hill Partners, expressed his confidence in the new leadership: “Derek and Ned bring unmatched expertise in scaling B2B organizations. Their strategic vision will undoubtedly propel DemandScience to new heights.”

Driving DemandScience’s Vision Forward

Derek Schoettle steps into his role as CEO with a remarkable track record. Previously a Growth Partner at Great Hill Partners, Schoettle has played critical roles at ZoomInfo, IBM Watson, and Cloudant. “We are entering a transformative era for B2B go-to-market strategies. DemandScience’s customer-centric, data-driven solutions position us as a true leader in this space,” said Schoettle.

Ned Leutz, now President, will oversee customer-centric operations, including marketing, sales, and customer experience. Leutz’s extensive experience at ZoomInfo, where he contributed to scaling ARR from $10M to over $1B, aligns seamlessly with DemandScience’s mission to optimize revenue for its clients.

The Impact of DemandScience and Terminus Merger

This leadership shift follows DemandScience’s November merger with Terminus, creating an industry powerhouse in Account-Based Experience (ABX). The new DemandScience platform utilizes AI-driven insights and predictive analytics to deliver hyper-personalized campaigns, enabling marketers to drive better ROI.

According to Lorena Fortuna, Principal Marketing Manager at Adobe, “This merger is a giant leap forward, equipping marketers to meet today’s demands and drive revenue like never before.”

A New Era in B2B Marketing

DemandScience, founded in 2012, continues to set industry benchmarks with its innovative solutions. With over 1,500 global clients and operations across seven countries, the company remains a trusted partner for data-driven revenue growth.
